They are a team of dedicated, enthusiastic professionals and inspiring role models who are keen to share their passion for dancing and performing arts with you! All our tutors are CRB registered, fully insured and staff with up to date first aid qualifications are always on hand for your safety and peace of mind.

Sarah Appleton

Sarah started dancing at the age of four and went on to study A Levels in Music, Dance & Performing Arts, before passing the Professional Dancers & Teachers of Dance course at Preston College. She has also achieved Grade 8 in singing. Sarah has been teaching dance classes for eight years and holds Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) qualifications in Tap, Modern and Jazz – the Level 3 Diploma In Dance Instruction (DDI) and the Level 4 Diploma In Dance Instruction (DDE).

Amy Pemberton

Amy also studied the Professional Dancers & Teachers Of Dance course at Preston College, having begun dancing at the age of six. She has five years teaching experience and holds Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern – the Level 3 Diploma In Dance Instruction (DDI) and the Level 4 Diploma In Dance Instruction (DDE).

Joe Appleton

Joe began performing at the age of twelve and has starred in many musicals across the North West. Joe has a 2:1 degree in Music Theatre and has been teaching music lessons for a year at a local primary school and at Clifton Academy. Alongside private singing tuition, Joe also teaches our Musical Theatre classes and Pop Choir. Joe is one half of a professional singing duo; Brothers of Swing!

Gary Woods

Gary is a professional dancer with twenty five years experience and has competed at national and international level! He started dancing at the age of seven and began competing at the age of ten, winning many titles including the British Formation Championships. He has made numerous TV appearances in his career on Strictly Come Dancing, its predecessor Come Dancing, This Morning and the 2010 Royal Variety Performance! Gary is proud to have helped to raise £2.5 million for The Macmillan Cancer Appeal and £9000 for Rainbow House by performing in aid of the charities. Having played the drums since his youth, Gary combines his dancing and musical talents to produce music for competitive dance couples, dancing schools and formation teams across the country. Gary teaches Latin and Ballroom classes and the coaches the Formation Team at Clifton Academy.
